Xmas day Pups

Betty is obsessed with our home made game, a garden stick, a piece of string and a slipper.

Baby Betty still confined to the garden.

Our beautiful girl Betty is approaching 8 months old.

I’m going to get Betty a pigs ear today. Someone else recommended them for their teeth. Betty barks and carries on at some strange things like a carrier bag 😀x

No haven't found any yet, I think he has swallowed them.

We got Benji a split antler horn , yak chew and pigs ears off amazon. He loves them all . He is so funny with the pigs ear, he rolls around barking at it, playing and chasing it before he settles to chew it. It is the only thing that keeps him occupied for longer than 2 minutes xx

Did you find the baby teeth? We didn’t so I guess she ate those as well 😀

Betty is still biting too, guess it will go on for some time 😕

we got a Yak bar from Pets at Home. Quite expensive but very hard and she likes gnawing on that instead of us!! 😂 x

Ah yes we're in the same boat. He eats everything he shouldn't 😂😂. He has lost 3 tiny teeth but can't see any big ones yet. Seems more mouthy again so I know he's in pain 😞 xx

We haven’t let Betty off the lead yet but she loves meeting other dogs, big or small.

yes, everything goes in her mouth, it’s a constant battle to make sure it isn’t something nasty. Shes lost a few first teeth and a couple of big ones are through. How about Benji? x

It is isn’t it. We had a ginger cat called Bertie. Betty seems to enjoy eating soil and plants if we don’t get to her first! x

Hi there. Lovely to hear from you. She is loving her walks, she wants to fuss every person and dog she sees 😂

This morning we walked in Bluebell woods nearby, bit early for them but Betty loved it.

Bettys exactly the same temperament which is lovely but yes not every dog or person will appreciate it😀 She has met my daughters dogs and quickly knew her place with them! My son has a large dog so I’ll be a bit nervous. I’m sure shel love her walks but I’m sure will need some lead training. No biting just as bad 😱 How about Benji! xx

Oh really, our vet said 1 week. Each vet is so different isn't it.

Safe to say Benji absolutely loves his walks 🥰🥰 he is so friendly and wants to say hello to every dog, child, person so we are working on manners 😂😂. Enjoy your 1st walks with Betty. It is such a special time.

I have actually bought a pair of ankle slippers! Girls are generally smaller I think and Benji has a curly coat too so that would make a difference. At 8 months apparently the adult coat will show what type of coat they will have. I think you’re right, after Betty has a mad session she will flop 😀
